libhivex0-dbg software package provides library for reading and writing Windows Registry hives, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libhivex0-dbg
libhivex0-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libhivex0-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libhivex0-dbg *
You will get with libhivex0-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
